Commanding an envious four octave vocal range, Tim draws inspiration from some of the greatest singers. Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Billy Porter, James Taylor and Kurt Elling to name a few. His performances are full with conviction and energy, while being delicate and soulful. The combination of his rhythm, pitch and a stage presence make a performance you can’t help but pay attention to. Tim’s genuine love of music and singing shines through every note he sings.
Throughout the course of his career, Tim has collaborated, worked and performed with some of Australia’s best vocalists and musicians.
In 2012 Tim released his heartfelt debut album, Stargazing with Australian piano legend Mark Isaacs, raising much needed funds for life-saving maternal health projects in rural Nepal – something close to Tim’s heart.
In 2013 the Sydney singer co-founded Sydney Vocal Academy achieving his dream of creating an empowering community around music, and nurturing a new generation of professional performers. The academy now teaches over 200 students, giving them the confidence, technique and musical experience that have enabled them to gain lead roles in Matilda, The Sound of Music, An Officer and a Gentleman and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang among other accomplishments.
The same year, Tim successfully earned a spot in Team Seal for the second series of The Voice Australia. This incredible experience won Tim many new fans. The mentorship he received during the show deepened his understanding of his technique and approach to singing, making him a stronger performer.
In 2015 Tim released second full-length album, Still With Me. The contemporary Christian album explored life, faith, redemption and surrender with powerfully composed and heartfelt vocals. In 2016, Tim successfully auditioned for The X Factor (Australia), where he received high praises from judges Adam Lambert, Iggy Azalea and Guy Sebastian.
Going from strength to strength, Tim released his breakthrough single The Kind of Man, in 2017, receiving immediate interest from around the globe for the song’s sincerity and touching story. As a male vocalist, Tim’s vocal talent is unwavering.
Whenever I perform The Kind of Man, at least one person in the audience ends up in tears and I like to think that in that moment, they’ve been given permission to remember the person they have lost.
In 2018, Tim traveled to New York for professional development, to experience first hand the calibre and professionalism of some of Broadway’s best singing and acting coaches. Of course, he gained a lot of inspiration from seeing plenty of Broadway shows (it’s such a hard life!).
As a tenor recording artist and performer, one of Tim’s many strengths is his ability to sing songs from a variety of genres, using a combination of technique, power and raw, captivating sincerity.

Tim’s formal qualifications and training have helped him excel as a singer, performer and singing teacher. He received a Bachelor of Music (Contemporary Vocals) with Distinction from CQU in 2008.
He’s since gone on to realise his dream of sharing music with the world, and teaching a new generation of singers and performers.
